The Buchan Community Support Team provides structured assistance during incidents and challenging conditions. We operate across two divisions: Community Support and RSR (Roadside Response).
Divisions

Community Support provides welfare and logistical assistance during adverse conditions and local incidents, supporting residents and key workers with calm, practical coordination.
Primary tasks
- Flooding support & community reassurance
- Support during power outages and disruption
- Tree clearing support (where appropriate)
- Transport for nurses and key workers
- Welfare checks and wellbeing support
- Preparing/distributing welfare boxes and essentials
- Coordination during local incidents
RSR supports incidents on the road network with a safety-led mindset — especially in higher-risk environments such as live lanes and emergency bays where scene awareness is critical.
